IN THE VAN

The world is too cruel for making a creative person stuck in the logical world!

The stream nearby my neighborhood

“A deep sigh”

A pair of eyes were stuck on the busy road which was awfully crowded with cars, and tired people. After visualizing the busy environment through the window, my mind went blank for a moment.

When the senses went back, I noticed my surrounding.

[music was playing…]

Everyone in the van was tired from a long day. Some are about to take a short nap before home — while some are still answering phone calls with clients. “What a busy day!” I thought. Right at the moment…

[The phone was ringing]

The trauma was awakened —palms started sweating, and the heartbeats skipped faster and faster. I look at the contact which was showing the name of the client. I took a long deep breath….Then, I answered the phone, and it took a few minutes.

“Sigh” I let out another sigh.

Not very soon, I noticed the stream nearby my neighborhood, and knowing that my stop is nearer. “What a long ride!” I thought, and I felt joyful to go back to my home sweet home. At that moment, I just realized that it is still on Tuesday and the ride had to be gone the rest of the week.

“Sigh” I let out one more deep sigh.

At my stop, I moved out of the van and said goodbye to my colleagues.

[One day is stressfully wrapped up, and I warn myself to be better prepared for tomorrow.]

“ You did great today. Even though you are in unfamiliar workplace, you tried hard! That is the best thing about you and keep doing it.” I motivate myself in silence while the van is continuing his destination . . .
